The Sear & Rescue Dog Handler's Academy (SARDOGS NEPAL NFP)  is occupying  about a third of our Resort and conducts a wide range of Search & Rescue Dog training methods almost every day to keep their SAR dogs in shape. The dogs learn man-trailing, area search for lost people & searching rubble for victims of collapsed buildings and landslides. Guests are welcome to stay in our Middim Khola resort for a reasonable rate and watch the training. They may also participate in the program to play "Victim".

The Staff of the academy will assign a destination for the participant and he/she will be used to be trailed or tracked by the dogs. This is great fun and one learns a lot how such dog training works.

Volunteers are also welcome. Those who have a skill to offer and want to share their knowledge with the SAR Dog Squad may even stay for free at our lodge and only pay for their food during their stay to the Academy Principal Mr. Nagin Thada. Most urgent at this moment is out door first aid and  medic response to people who have met with an accident. If you are an emergency nurse or Red Cross volunteer with such training and think you can teach such things to the Dog Handlers, feel free to apply. Any other subject related to disaster response and Medic first response can be considered for volunteer trainer job at the Academy. CONTACT THE ACADEMY  if you think you have anything to offer.
