While passing by at our Middim Khola Resort in Shyauli Bazaar from any direction, Trekking Groups, Camper groups, mountain bikers or individuals who prefer camping instead of staying in lodges are warmly welcome at our spacious campsites that surround our lodge.
Camper Groups can stay down at the river near the tiny Hospital that we have built ourselves or they can settle on our terrace field above the resort at our upper entry on the new motor-able road track.

Single campers with only one or two tents may stay wherever they like it as long as they do not camp on top our vegetable fields or in our volleyball ground. The charge per tent is RS 60,- per night. Those who want to cook their own meals on their camping cooking set need to pay RS 150,- instead for using our toilets and showers.
Those campers who eat in our restaurant however pay only RS 60,- per tent. Making an open wood fire at your camp sides is not allowed. Those who want to organize a camp fire have to do this 5 minute walk away down at the banks of the Middim Khola River. One will find a lot of drift wood at the river to feed a camp fire. Our Dog Squad has also a large quantity of firewood in store. This may be used for free, if you invite them to attend your camp fire.Share your merriment with them and they even may bring some local rakshi along.

The road track along the northern side of our resort was constructed just a year ago and comes from Ram Bazaar at "Madi River - Middim Khola Dhoban" . (junction) The track leads across the Madi Khola from Begnas Lake and Pokhara.
A motor- able bridge there is under construction right now but that will take time. Trekkers cross the suspension bridge instead, when they come from Pokhara or Begnas lake on their way to Nalma, Kudi and Manang.
Groups may also stay below in the middle of our center compound and bivouac in a large canteen hall with no furniture in it. There is a huge kitchen bar and a water tap and washing basin where your own trekking cooks can prepare your meals.
A dancing floor stage of sorts is inside this hall where we sometime make merry with the villagers during rain season. Bad weather trekking stop so to say if your group runs into a thunderstorm and does not want to set up their tents under such conditions. Porters dislike to carry damp tents.

Next to that hall there are 4 bath -shower rooms and toilets for groups and our staff. We charge only 60 Rupees per night from each foreign guest to make use of these facilities. Their Nepalese trekking staff can stay for free.
Foreign Guests are free to give more as a donation for our Search and Rescue Dog Handlers Academy who is your host that night.
Groups without any tents are also welcome. Their agency should send us a short message at least a week before by e-mail that they wish to stay over night at our lodge. If the lodge is full we can arrange alternative rooms since we have many empty buildings and a lot of space. The tariff for one bed room with each 3 beds in it is 750 Rupees including use of our solar hot water showers at the lodge. For empty rooms where more than 5 trekkers can bivouac on the floor we will only charge 60 Rupees per person.

The food we serve at the restaurant is just what we have available . Seasonal veggies, lentils and rice...the famous Dhal Bhat thus. Luxury is usually also available, like hearty cheese sandwiches with fresh bread from our own baker. Good quality buff hot dogs and mustard, a cool beer or soft drinks from our solar electric running refrigerator. Price List is reasonable etc. etc.
Those who want Dhal Bhat with chicken or fish must order this at least one hour before. Groups larger than 7 persons can also order fresh goat meat for their dinner...Nepalese style goat curry that is. If a group wishes to be entertained by the village folks for a dancing evening with lots of local songs and fanfare, they must tell us just at least 2 hours before dusk and the women and children will come. This of course is something special and often lasts 2 or more hours long. Local brew rakshi will make that you will go to sleep late. Such events are more suitable for trekkers that wish to have a resting day. There is a price tag on such event. The women expect at least 500 Rupees per person and hour. That money goes into the villager's community savings account for their urgent needs.
